Referral Partners
Our Foodbank works by partnering with local and national organisations as Referral Partners.
Our vision is of a UK without the need for foodbanks, but we can’t do this alone. We therefore partner with referral agencies who are well placed to engage in meaningful conversations, alongside offering appropriate support or connecting people with services that can address their needs. By doing this we hope that more people will be empowered so that they do not need to use our services.
To recieve emergency food at our centres, clients need a unique voucher each time they visit us. Our referral agencies therefore play a crucial and ongoing role in assessing circumstances and working out whether emergency food is appropriate.
With this in mind, we have developed the following criteria that we ask our referral agencies to be able to meet:
If your agency can meet these criteria and you would like to join as a referral partner, please nominate a lead contact to complete our application form. Our team will then assess your application and contact you about the next steps. Please only submit ONE application per agency or team.
We have a small staff team and get a lot of requests but we will work hard to review applications within 7 working days.
